The other bounces round the screen energising any blocks it touches. However there are creatures on the board also - one type follows you around trying to destroy your ship. You can move rapidly when hoovering up adjacent blocks, but you move VERY slowly over empty space, unless you are directly in line with a distant block - in which case you fire a beam to it and dragged there almost instantly. Your player starts on a grid of blocks and you have to collect them all to progress. It's quite difficult to describe, original and doesn't really fit into any genre (suppose it's closest to an action puzzle title). Though it's nothing like the Beam Rider games that appeared on other 8 bits. I didn't realise this was an arcade game - I only knew it as 'Beam Rider' on the Dragon 32
